WOW Moment: Frozen pond in Bowness Park

"The very first time I skated outdoors on a frozen pond, it was Bowness Park. I grew up in Vancouver where of course it doesn't get cold enough to freeze anything.

I had always watched enviously of all these scenes of kids skating outside and so when I first moved to Calgary and got the chance to skate outside, it was a pretty big thrill."
