Calgary Tower

Ascend 160 metres above street level to the Calgary Tower's glass viewing deck, where you'll find yourself surrounded by a downtown cityscape. Look west for views of the Rockies – or straight down though the glass floor that reveals the hustle and bustle of the street below you. A revolving restaurant offers fine dining with atmosphere – literally – as it completes a 360 degree tour of the city in an hour.

Calgary Zoo

Watch over 1,000 animals from 290 different species as they hop, gambol, slither and swing their way around modern enclosures designed to help humans and creatures check each other out.

The zoo's prehistoric park is home to  life-sized T-Rexes and stegosaurus just waiting for a tasty snack to come along.  (Don't worry, they're scale replicas. We think.)

Fort Calgary

Fort Calgary is a reconstructed North-West Mounted Police fort and interpretive centre offering history lovers a glimpse of life on the 19th century frontier. Visitors can explore exhibits depicting Calgary's founding and development up until the 1940s. Take a tour of a replica of the original barracks and explore the interpretive pathways along a pretty riverside park.

Glenbow Museum

Intriguing stories from Western Canada connect with extraordinary art and artifacts from around the world.

With exhibits spread over three floors, the Glenbow covers a delightfully eclectic range of subjects. Experience the history and cultural traditions of native Canadians indigenous to Alberta and Montana. Immerse yourself in a splendid collection of Asian art and statuary.
