Know before you go
A few things worth knowing as you start planning your trip to Calgary.
Getting to McMahon Stadium: 10 to 15 minutes from downtown by CTrain, taxi, or rideshare.
Getting to Stampede Park for the Festival: Direct access by CTrain if you get off at Victoria Park station.
Weather: November is cold, but Chinook winds can swing temperatures 20°C in a few hours, so check the forecast close to game day.
What to wear: Layer up under your jersey. McMahon is open-air.
Getting around: Downtown is walkable, and the CTrain is free along 7th Avenue.
Make a weekend of it: Banff is 90 minutes west of Calgary, and we recommend taking the extra day to visit.
