A bird in the hand..... By Mary N
While feeding chickadees in the park, I was surprised to find this female downy woodpecker on my hand. She chose her seeds carefully and flew off, leaving me with my mouth wide open. The wildlife within Calgary is amazing - you see something new everywhere you look.
