Learn the ropes like a real cowboy with a stay at a heritage guest ranch. The Homeplace Ranch gives you a look at how the region's original settlers lived – on horseback.

When you arrive at the historic ranch, you're assigned a horse (and shown how to get comfortable) then you're off for a trail ride experience.

Use the ranch as your base when you venture out to experience nearby attractions including the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site, Spruce Meadows, Longview, Turner Valley and cowboy country at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.

The Homeplace Ranch is between Bragg Creek and Priddis, off Hwy 22X just west of Hwy 22. If you're arriving by air, your hosts will pick you up at the Calgary International Airport.
